THE EGYPTIAN SWISS CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES

Shorosh Co. Had been founded in the year 1905 as producer of shoes polish and all types of nails. Later at the year 1965 SHOROSH CO. Expanded its activities by starting its first line of printing tin plates as well as producing metal cans.
As our mother company we started to expand our activities by beginning the production of building chemicals and paints. Lately at 1984 we signed licensee agreement with a Swiss company named Euco-Export for the production of Swiss building chemicals in Egypt.
Continuing our progress we finished on the year 1994 our new factory in Cairo on 10000 Sq. M and started production under company Name Egyptian Swiss Chemical Industries.
Egyptian Swiss Chemical Industries today employs 200 people and produces a total amount of 20000 tons annually of chemicals for buildings.
Also we achieved another target which is, signing two new licenses at the end of 1996.
I-Producing can coatings and varnishes with Valspar (Austria)
2-Producing hard and soft P. U. Joint for the clay pipes with G. F. .
On the second of February 1999 we signed a new license agreement with the Euclid Chemicals in Cleveland Ohio for the production of building chemicals in Egypt.
Never the less we have our contracting department which have proved its capability in applying all kinds of building chemicals to different types and fields of construction with long term guarantees.
